Expertise built over years, account by account.

Block Seven was founded in Johannesburg in 2022 to do one thing properly: run the online side of businesses selling in South Africa, from taking an established brand onto Takealot, Amazon or Makro to running every channel month to month. Since then the team has spent every working day inside marketplace and e-commerce accounts — listings, buy box, pricing, promotions, advertising and reporting — for the brands who trust us with them.

That depth comes from two places. The first is practice: years of managing client accounts across Takealot, Amazon, Makro, Leroy Merlin and Bob Shop, through platform changes, fee changes and every peak season in between. The second is engineering. We build TSeller, our own marketplace management platform, which meant learning these channels at a technical level — their APIs, their fee structures, their reconciliation logic — well past what any dashboard shows.

Today we manage over R15 million in client revenue every month, and the same team that writes the software runs the accounts.

The people behind the work.

Block Seven is deliberately small. You deal with the founders directly, not an account executive relaying messages.

Your business stays your business.

Marketplace performance is competitive information. Everything we see inside your account — your pricing, your suppliers, your margins, your numbers — belongs to you and stays with you.

We don’t move insight between the businesses we manage, and we don’t trade on what one client’s account tells us. What we bring to your channels is the expertise we carry in, never information carried out of someone else’s.

Four things we hold to.

  • 01

    Own the outcome

We don’t hand over recommendations and walk away. We run the accounts, do the work and answer for the numbers every month.

  • 02

    Margin over vanity

Revenue is easy to buy. We optimise for profit — pricing, fees and ad spend all measured against what you actually keep.

  • 03

    Discretion by default

What we learn inside your business stays inside your business. Confidentiality isn’t a clause for us — it’s how the work is structured.

  • 04

    Engineering depth

We build the software we manage on. That gives our clients automation, accuracy and visibility that off-the-shelf tooling doesn’t.

The channels we know properly.
